Description

The remains of a tank training circuit northeast of Selworthy Beacon (115482).There is a triangular circuit 150m east-west and 140m north-south which is made of local stone. The target railway that was used was at East Myne (115494). Tracks connected the site with Hill Road and with the Bossington Hill circuit. Condition: good. (1)

The tank training circuit is visible on aerial photographs from 1946 and was mapped as part of The Severn Estuary RCZAS mapping project. (2)
