A large mound of indefinite shape lies just northeast of Selworthy Beacon (115482), on the open moorland, it is the possible remains of a Second World War observation post associated with the tank training circuit (MNA167652) or demolition material from the tank training activities.

Description
Large mound of indefinite shape lies just northeast of Selworthy Beacon (115482), on the open moorland.It is 23m x 18m and is 1.2m high. It is probably a collection of demolition material from buildings associated with the tank training ranges used in World War II on North Hill. (1)
Condition: good
Visible on aerial photographs and mapped as part of the Severn Estuary RCZAS mapping project. It is a possible Second World War observation post, associated with adjacent tank training circuit [MNA167652].
