Summary

A Second World War target railway running northwest-southeast on the grassland southwest of West Myne Farm. It forms a long terrace about 9m wide. It was one of three target railways that were part of the tank training range on Bossington and North Hills.

Description

A target railway running northwest-southeast on the grassland southwest of West Myne Farm.It appears as a long terrace about 9m wide on the southwest facing slope, it cuts into the hillside about 1.5m. Condition: fair. (NGR SS 9211 4864 to SS 9231 4846). [1]

The Second World War target railway B was visible on aerial photographs and mapped as part of the Severn Estuary RCZAS mapping project. It was one of three target railways that were part of the tank training range on Bossington and North Hills.
