Description
The mill pond receives the water from the leat, either from the overshot wheel, when this is in use, or from the pentrough if the wheel is not running.It is at the northeast corner of the mill building (115157). The overflow goes across the track to the farmhouse and joins the River Aller about 50m from the pond. There is a small stone footbridge over the outflow. The pond is cleaned out every year by the wardens and Acorn Camp volunteers. Condition: good. [1]
