Summary
A large quarry, with (now demolished) buildings, lies immediately north of the Hill Road, east of the turning to West Myne Farm. The buildings were associated with Second World War tank training ranges situated close to the quarry.

Description
A large quarry lies immediately north of the Hill Road, east of the turning to West Myne Farm. Buildings associated with the organisation of the World War II tank training ranges were situated close to the quarry. They have been bulldozed and the remnants formed into a level platform south of the quarry, it has a 40m long scarp that is 1.6m high. [1]
