Description

An observation post built of concrete and sunk into the ground. It is east of Henner’s Combe and close to sites 115508 and 115509.Until recently (1998-9), the site was an earth mound, the farmer has removed this and a rectangular area of concrete is visible 5.9m x 2.8m and 0.15m thick. On the south, downhill, side some courses of brickwork are visible below the concrete. This was protected accommodation for observers of the tank training ranges in World War II. The earth originally piled over it was for protection and disguise. Condition: good. [1]

The earthern mound that once surround the concrete structure measured about 28 metres by 34 metres.
