Summary
A Second World War observation post or target, located west of Selworthy Beacon is visble as an eathwork on the ground and on historical aerial photographs. It is visble as a grass covered mound that measures about 30m x 20m across and 2.5m high. It was part of the tank training range on Bossington Hill.

Description
A World War II observation post west of Selworthy Beacon, it is now a grass-covered mound 30m x 20m and 2.5m high. It was part of tank training ranges that spread right across North Hill. Condition: good. (1)
The observation post or possible target dugout was visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs and mapped as part of the Severn Estuary RCZAS mapping project. Further information, sources and photograph references are available in the Exmoor National Park HER record MSO7625. (2)
