Two external stokeholes located outside Roman building to the west which provided heat for the west bath-house of the Roman villa. Originally known as 'room 9'.

Description

Two external stokeholes located outside Roman building to west, originally known as room 9 to the antiquarian excavators provided heat for west bath-house of the villa. They are currently filled with gravel to prevent rabbit ingress to the hyopcaust system. [SNA62028]
