Description

A male figure carved into a Beech tree at Hatchlands Park visible from the track and close to the Ice House.

The male figure is approximately 50cm high and potentially represents a soldier. The artistic figure has a well defined face, is wearing a hat and buttoned uniform. The figure has a speech bubble to the right, but the text is not legible. The figure is carved into numbered tree #1363.

This carved figure is most likely linked with another male figure visible MNA192375 on an adjacent tree of similar age, even though the different styles suggest they might have been created by different artists.
