Description
A large mound of earth and stone on West Myne land, southeast of the farm site.It is 25m x 7m and 1.2m high. Some concrete is visible in it. The east end is stony and agricultural clearance material may have been added to the World War II debris. Condition: fair. [1]
The mound referred to above [1] was not visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and viewed as part of the Severn Estuary RCZAS mapping project, but nearby at SS 9235 4855 is a field bank which has been disturbed by Second World War military tracks. The field bank appears to be partially destroyed on aerial photographs taken in 1979.
