Description
Two lynchets, running east-west in the improved pasture southeast of the inland end of Henner’s Combe, now part of West Myne Farm.One lynchet is very large, 1.8m high, the smaller one is 0.,6m high and runs north-south from it. Both have been spread by later cultivation. Condition: good. [1]
The Medieval to Post Medieval lynchets were visible as slight earthworks on historical aerial photographs and mapped as part of the Severn Estuary RCZAS mapping project. Further information, sources and photograph references are available in the Exmoor National Park HER record MSO8092. [2]
