Coal House and Store
Interior
Walls: Whitewashed squared ashlar with 2 vents in each side of partition.
Floor: Concrete.
Ceiling: Rafter and collar beam softwood trusses. Planked under tiles.
Doors:
D14 (store) - 6-plank framed door. Hung on countersunk hinges with knob handle and rim lock.
D15 (coal house) – very large door of 9 planks on Z frame with 3 ledges and with very long strap hinges. Wooden housing to rim lock. Norfolk latch with latch piece missing.
Windows:
W19-21 - three 2-light timber framed windows of a single pane each. 1 opening casement each. Timber lintels over.
Condition: The store has a very large 30 mm wide crack running across the floor and up the south wall. This is also visible from the outside. In effect the south-east corner of the building is falling away. The big buttress-type construction at the rear of the garages stops short of the end of the building so does not offer any support.

Game larder
Interior
Walls: Whitewashed squared ashlar with 2 vents either side of window.
Floor: Concrete.
Ceiling: Plasterboard. Timber framed with hooks for hanging game.
Door: D16 - as D14.
Window: W22 - Two-light with I opening casement. 2 panes each. Timber frame. Timber lintel over.
Slate shelves on 3 sides still extant.

Boiler Room and Store
The boiler room and store are situated in a basement area enabled by the steep slope of the ground. Access is only from the outside.
Walls: Brick lined to north, stone to south.
Floor: Concrete.
Ceiling: Metal mesh and plaster ceiling.
Doors:
D17 (west room) - 7 plank with wire ventilation hole. Thumb latch and stock lock. Hung on strap hinges.
D18 (east room) - as above.
Ceiling of store to west is held up by two steel I-beams supported by two brick piers. Feed trough with tethering chain in south-west corner noted in 1990 – not present in 2008. Boiler room to east has brick enclosure to catch coal from chute leading from coal house above. Boiler and pipes still present. Inscription on door of hopper reads ‘Robin Hood Senior’.
