Description
A substantial stone cairn 12 metres long north -south by 8 metres east -west is situated within the area of old field -systems on north -eastern slopes of Butter Hill, almost adjacent to the modern enclosed fields. Its position, on the hillslope, may suggest that it is not a burial cairn but more likely to be associated with field clearance.
