Description

A series of approximately east west trackways run across Countisbury Common. They consist of irregular hollow ways and banks and may well be associated with the field system on the common. They are of little archaeological importance.

First surveyed by D and C Thackray in 1986. Series of tracks and hollow ways on Countisbury Common. The main routes form part of a continuation of track 100980 heading W across the common. Listed as site 100276 in 1986. There are many more tracks that criss-cross the common and are used by the general public. They are of limited archaeological significance.
