Summary
Distinct low scarp running WNW-ESE in the SW corner of field 146. At the WNW end the scarp runs up to the S side of the field entrance. It is possible therefore that the line is that of an old track. At the ESE end the scarp runs into an area of nettles and thistles and disturbed ground. It is not clear if the scarp is cut by this area or post-dates it. The area partly resembles a quarry (see below) or even an old building. The scarp varies from 0.2 – 0.4m high. Nothing is shown on the historic map sequences in this area.
