Summary
Small, low bank aligned approximately E-W in the SE corner of field 146 (tithe map). The bank runs from just N of the old cowshed downhill and fades short of the fence above the combe. It faded at the W end in nettles and disturbed ground N of the old cowshed. The new building has covered over part of this W section. The bank is only 0.3m high, by 0.7 – 1.2m wide and 25m long. The age of the bank is unclear. It is possible it was associated with drainage from the old cowshed, but the condition suggests it is older. Nothing is shown on the historic maps in this location.
