Description
Slight earthwork of a footpath shown on the 1889 OS map continues from the W end of the terraced track 025 in to the fields S of Lester Cliff (‘Evidence’ fields). Swings SW around the contour, then W, becoming wider and more clearly defined. Becomes a clear terraced track that runs W along the top edge of the remaining field boundary, until lost in undergrowth at the W edge of Trust property.
The W part of the track may have been part of an original access route for the tenants of Combe Martin to access Common land on Little Hangman before this area was fully enclosed.
