Description

Platform of former building, apparently a cafe, which was demolished on the wishes of the National Trust according to the farmer, Dave Legg. The building is shown on post-war maps in a small triangular enclosure along the coastal path, and is located on a narrow area between the field and the edge of the cliff above Wild Pear Beach. The platform is 20m long and 5-6m in depth. A small area of concrete hard-standing survives at the W end on a slight rise above the platform.
