Description
From NT VBS
"Outhouse to the NW of the house (31866). It consists of two rooms with separate doorways from the yard behind the house. The NE room has a window in the SE flank and had a C19 brick chimney in the NE gable (now removed). Probably this served as a Wash house, although there is a possibility that it may have served as a swill house for boiling foodstuffs for pigs. The SW room is a store. The NE room is built from large squared roughly coursed rubble sandstone. The SW room is built of random rubble sandstone. The doorways are quoined. The roofs are of pantile; that to the NE is gabled, that to the SW is a catslide."
