  • FINDSPOT (Prehistoric - 500000 BC to 42 AD)

A few flint finds were made when field walking Bossington Farm in 1998 with volunteers, but an average of 1-2 flints per field only were found. These were flakes, not worked, and non-diagnostic but demonstrate prehistoric man did cross the area. The north fields near the sea were affected by flooding, or under permanent grass.

The finds are held at the Holnicote Estate office
