Description
A cottage is recorded on the 1809-12 Holnicote Estate Survey south of the farmhouse (115211). It is listed under the Manor of Luccombe as ‘u 1 Late David Ridler’s, Cottage & etc’, the tenant was Jacob Court. By the time of the 1842 Luccombe Tithe map the site is recorded as a garden. It was west of the large modern farm building numbered 14 in the Vernacular Building Survey.
