Description
The south wall of cottage 25 (115025) is thick, it has render on the north side and a blocked window is apparent which looked out to the north. This is the remnant of a probably late medieval house (judging by the wall thickness) which stood running south. Cottage 25 was built butting onto this earlier dwelling, and used its north wall for the south end of the newer cottage. It was no.144 on the Selworthy Tithe and the Holnicote Estate map, listed as cottage and garden. Condition: demolished. [1]
