Description
East Yard Portal Frame:
Located along east edge of former walled yard; concrete portal frame barn of 19 unequal bays. West side has six courses of concrete blocks, with rusty corrugated iron cladding above. Two doorways this side, bays 2/3 and 9/10, where portal post removed and roof member supported on RSJ lintel. East side open except for iron-clad northern two bays, abuts brick yard wall, with three narrow openings. South end partly built up with concrete blocks, upper part damaged. Corrugated asbestos roof and ridge, much missing. Asbestos rainwater goods.
West Yard Portal Frame:
In north-west corner of the yard; 5 bay portal frame, with concrete uprights and bracket, supporting mixture of timber and concrete principal rafters and purlins. Corrugated asbestos roof projects to overlap roof of pig pens to north. Roof damaged at south end. Uneven, galvanised ridge. Plastic rainwater goods.
Grain Drier and Silo:
Modern; steel frame with concrete block walls, upper parts clad in corrugated asbestos. Three galvanised silo bins at west end. Pitched, corrugated asbestos roof, asbestos trimming and rainwater goods.
Lean-to garage to south; open to west, concrete blocks and corrugated asbestos.
