Description
A large covered stone vase on a stone pedestal set at the end of the vista from the Shell Fountain (150452). Vase decorated with swags and lions' masks. Inscription on the side of the pedestal "The Gift of Queen Anne to George Hamilton, Earl of Orkney". Probably in place about 1725.
