Description
On the northeastern side of the adit (20118*30) are a group of four trial trenches. The longest trench is angled and measures 3.0m wide and 0.5m deep. Its edges are quite sharp and well-defined suggesting it is relatively late. The pit at the southern end of the trench is 3.0m by 4.2m and 0.9m deep. The other two short trenches are not more than 0.5m deep (Lax, A. 1995).
