Summary
Nan Tor Cave situated to the north-west of Wetton Mill is 4.75m by 4.75m. Its roof has collapsed and rubble from this rock fall is mostly buried by dark brown earth.

Description
The cave is just above the car park at Wetton Mill and is easily accessible to large numbers of visitors. The entrance commands a wide view of the valley and is south facing. If the cave was roofed in prehistory it would have been a prime site for occupation. There is no known history of excavation and the material which has fallen into the cave through the roof hole may have sealed cave deposits of archaeological and geological interest (HJHB).
