Description
Immediately over the stile leading to Windy Knoll and 9m to the west, a shaft hollow and mound may be on an unrecorded workings in the south vein of the Forest Liberty section of Odin Mine,(Ford,T.D & Rieuwerts,J.H 1976; Vol.6). The site does not appear to have been visited by the NT survey team in 1986, therefore the condition of the site is unknown.
Further details were collected during the 1992 visit to the site. The site lies just south of the A625. There are two mine shafts to the north and the south of the site. West of the more northern site are three spoil heaps. Between the two shafts is another depression, the record does not specify whether it is a simple depression or if it is another shaft.
