This lean-to, a small single storey building on the rear angle to the left wing and yard wall, is part of Stow Barton Farm complex on Duckpool to Sandy Mouth property and dates from the 19th century. It may be a former wash house and drying shelter.
The lean-to is mainly built of rubblestone and brick with a slate roof.
