Summary

A Second World War observation post, now a grass covered mound. It is set on the south end of the west side of Henner’s Combe and measures about 27 metres by 10 metres.

Description

A grass covered mound over a concrete structure which is likely to be an observation post, it is set on the south end of the west side of Henner’s Combe. It is part of the World War II tank training ranges on North Hill. Condition: good. [1]

The Second World War observation post was visible on aerial photographs and mapped as part of the Severn Estuary RCZAS mapping project. Defined by a mound it is centred at SS 9193 4822 and measures about 27 metres by 10 metres.
