Summary

A probable Second World War observation post or Target defined as an earth mound on the east side of Henner’s Combe near the Target Railway MNA168310. It measures 25m by 16m and is 3.7m high. It is associated with the tank training range on Bossington Hill.

Description

An earth mound on the east side of Henner’s Combe near site 115508.It is 25m x 16m and 3.7m high. It is at the west end of a target railway and is clearly associated with it. Condition: good. [1]

The Second World War mound, likley an observation post or Target dugout was visible on historical aerial photographs and mapped as part of the Severn Estuary RCZAS mapping project.
