Narrow rectangular room linking Room 29 to the corridor of the north wing. No features noted but 4th-century stratigraphy known to survive below ground surface, which is laid to grass. [SNA62028]
2017 excavation across north end 29a recut 2000 Cotswold mosaic survey trench found no surviving Roman floor surface but gulley containing Late Roman shelly ware located [SNA68988]
