Description
A hexagonal pillbox, almost certainly of Type 22, constructed of cast ferro-concrete with a concrete slab roof, and set on steeply sloping ground. Each facet measures about 2.4m long, but the structure could not be accessed to gain accurate over all measurements. There is some low earth mounding immediately to the west.
The pillbox is densly overgrown but appears to be intact, and is properly in reasonably good structural condition. Ground levels around the northern part of the pillbox were artificially raised during construction of the adjacent agricultural trackway (paralled to the B3157), obscuring any access hatched or embrasures on these facets.
