Description
A flat-topped earth mound southwest of the target railway (115606)?[115697?], it is 32m x 20m and 4m high.The top is recently disturbed. It may be an observation post, it is certainly World War II and associated with the tank training ranges on North Hill. Condition: poor. [1]
The Second World War mound is likely to be an observation post or Target dugout. It was visible on aerial photographs and mapped as part of the Severn Estuary RCZAS mapping project.
