Description
Track constructed during World War II to give access to the target railway (115494) at East Myne Farm.It ran from the entrance to West Myne Farm across the pasture land to just north of East Myne. It is now a stony track, 4m wide. The West Myne track was also metalled during the war period. Condition: good. NGR: SS9251 4829 to SS 9299 4839. [1]
Historical aerial photographs from 1946-48, show that the track continues east from SS 9299 4839, reaching the target railway (MNA167602) and then passing around the north of the site, ending at the observation post (MNA167604).
