Description
the site of an old limekiln is marked on the 1962 OS 1:10560 map SS 94 NE, it is shown on the 1889 and 1903 1:2500 sheets. There is no sign of the building on the ground, and since Hurricane Lily in 1966[?] the shingle ridge has been very much altered.[1]
