Summary
Remains of a broad track shown on the 1888 map crossing the combe E of the old linhay. It is not shown on the earlier tithe map, or on the later 1904 map. The track runs steeply down into the combe from the NW corner of field 160. It is about 15m long and 1.5 – 3m wide. It crosses the stream and climbs NW out of the combe with the revetment wall of path 100987 forming the W side. These paths join and continue past the linhay into the SE corner of field 139. The W section is narrower than the E side, being only 1 – 1.4m wide, although part of this may be due to erosion of the path falling into the combe. It is also possible that this track is later than 100987.
