Summary
A series of tracks shown on the OS 1884, 1891, 1903 and 1922 maps bounding the villa on the north and west sides. Evidence for the western track was uncovered in Shoesmith's 1977 excavation, but it is unclear at what point the trackways went out of use, however the northern extension of the tracks survives as a path through the woods to the north-west of the villa.

Description
A series of tracks shown on the OS 1884, 1891, 1903 and 1922 maps bounding the villa on the north and west sides. Evidence for the western track was uncovered in Shoesmith's 1977 excavation, but it is unclear at what point the trackways went out of use, however the northern extension of the tracks survives as a path through the woods to the north-west of the villa.
The area currently houses two sheds and the remains of experiemental lime and pottern kilns however Bethell highlights the presence of in tact archaeological strata below the route of the trackway in particular the western boundary wall of the villa as viewed during Shoesmith's excavations in the 1970s.
