Description
Almost square room with no visible features. Previous excavation has prompted interpretation as a kitchen. Ground surface is laid to grass. East and west walls do not reach wall of corridor, which survive only to c. 30cm above the corridor floor level.[SNA62028]
2017 Excavation in NW corner and external north side junction of 29a & 30 demonstrated Richmond's assertion that rooms east of 29a added after late 4th century (Papworth 2020) [SNA68988]
