Description

A square room forming part of the south wing of the C4th house. Bethell records that there are with no visible features within the room and no interpretation of it's function. The room is at a lower level than room 3 and its interior surface is grassed over obscuring evidence of opus signinum floor beneath the current floor level.[SNA62028]
The buried mosaic survey did not reveal any floor level in this room but recorded constructional make-up / levelling deposits [SNA62068]
