Summary
Neolithic polished stone axe head found by Mr J.H.R. Foulkes, tenant of Wheathill Farm, in 1971. The axe is still in Mr Foulkes possession.

Description
Fine neolithic hand axe of petrological group VII (porphrytic microgranodiarite) from Graig Llwyd, Caernarvonshire, North Wales. Found by Mr J.H.R. Foulkes in mint condition in 1971 at a location very close to spearhead 50173*0 in the same field. Length 200mm x max width 80mm x thickness 42mm.
