Description
A stone axe found at Fell End, Ennerdale (near site of re-erected stone circle) is in Gosforth School Museum (Fair, M.C. 1935). The cutting edge had been sharpened while the rest of the implement was left in its natural state (Crawford, G. and George, C. 1983).LDHER 1206: A stone axe found at Fell End near the site of a re-erected stone circle (HER 1200).
