Description

A large low mound was visible east of Stratford below Great Woods on an aerial photograph in 1971. There is nothing visible on the ground now. [1]

The mound was not visible during a field visit in 1998. The aerial photograph reference is SCPD/HSL/UK 71-177 Run 91 8683 (September 1971). Further information and sources are available in the Exmoor National Park HER record MSO8067. [2]
