Description

The gulleys of a water meadow system can be distinguished in the grass running down from the more southerly of the two sluices (site 115622).). A gulley running northwest can be seen as a slight dip in the field surface, and possible gulleys running to the southwest can be seen faintly when the field has been heavily grazed. There is also a removed field boundary to the southwest and a ditch along this would have picked up any remaining water, and emptied it into the River Aller. Condition: fair. [1]
