Summary
The remains of a Second World War observation post which appears to have been blown up, it is set west of the spring at the top of Henner’s Combe. Orginally defined by a mound, as visible on historical aerial photographs, which was subsequently levelled. The building remains are 5.5m x 3.8m, and 1.4m high, it is roofless and the walls lean outwards.

Description
the remains of an observation post which appears to have been blown up, it is set west of the spring at the top of Henner’s Combe.The building remains are 5.5m x 3.8m, and 1.4m high, it is roofless and the walls lean outwards. The roof was reinforced concrete and 0.5m thick, the walls were 0.9m thick, also reinforced concrete with a brick skin outside. Pieces of electric cable and ducting through the walls is visible. It is associated with other World War II sites. Condition: reasonable. [1]
The Second World War observation post was visible on historical aerial photographs and mapped as part of the Severn Estuary RCZAS mapping project. Originally defined by a mound that was subsequently levelled, leaving the builing remains only.
