Summary
The Second Edition 25” to 1 mile OS map of 1903 (64/4) shows a long building situated between the privy and the medieval fish pond. It is rectangular and is set with its long axis running east-west. It is not shown on the 1840 tithe map and appears to have been pulled down in the 1920s or 1930s. There is no indication as to its function and no remains are now visible on the ground.
A row of rubble stone columns with a timber beam over forming a pergola now stands on the site.
