Description

Substantial earth bank 1-1.5m high by 2.5m wide and ditch running NE around the E edge of the large erosion gully on the E side of Little Hangman. Bank runs downhill in a series of ‘dog-legs’, with a large ditch upslope. Part of C19 attempts to enclose the coastal strip. This feature may have replaced another bank shown on the Tithe map that was lost to coastal erosion, and would have joined to the bank 009. Heavily overgrown in places.
