Description

Only one of these barrows now remain. barrow a in a very mutilated condition, consists of a stony mound.
Diameter 12.8m, height 0.91m. Its centre has been opened leaving a hollow with diameter 7.1m which contains a cist, the remains of which are aprox 2m long and 0.7m wide. An arc of stoney material, in a mound of approx 11.6m Diameter, 0.3m high, lying about 4.25m east of the tumulus is probably spoil from the excavation.
